In this tutorial I’m going to show you how to host your very first WordPress website using a cPanel, I’m Going to show you Two ways of Installing Your Blog,
- Installing Manually ( WordPress.org )
- Installing from cPanel ( cPanel.com )
Lets Get started with the Manually way, First Click here After visited that page click on Download WordPress.
You will get a ZIP File of WordPress Source. Extract it on New Folder or Anywhere you like to Extract.
You can See in the Above Screenshot i have Extracted it and Zipped all the files again.
Now It’s Time to Upload that Zip File to cPanel, First open up your Website cPanel.
Now we have to Navigate to File Manager in cPanel or you can use any FTP Client I’ll Prefer you to use Filezilla .
But Right now we have to use File Manager. Click on File Manager and Then it will navigate you to other Window with all your Server Files normally Server Files Start with >www> / htdoc / Public_html
I have created a Folder in FTP with the name of >wordpress . As you can see the Folder is Empty, ” This directory is empty ” Now its time to upload the wordpress.zip to File Manger.
Let’s Upload the File, and Extract the ZIP Archive into File Manager. There is and Option to Extract the Archive file from File Manager. or you can Unzip it by selecting a file and Right clicking on to Unzip the file.
After it shows that the Uploading is done, Click on Go Back to > then it will Take you back to File Manger and then Click on Reload.
After you have done with the Uploading files Unzip the Files now, and it will show you the list of WordPress Source Files.
Now Navigate to the Folder where you uploaded the WordPress Blog I have a domain connected noorqureshi.com with cPanel and I have uploaded the WordPress to the Folder Called >wordpress do you remember huh? 😀 .
A installation process will be Start when you navigate to the installation folder. In this process you have to select the language of installation of WordPress blog and then hit Continue.
Now we have a process of creating a Database and username of Database to put in WordPress.
Click on Let’s Go>
After clicking on Let’s go you have to Fill four fields,
- Database Name
- Database Username
- Database Password
- Database Host
After Entering the Fields of Database Then click on Submit.
Then click the Installation to click on Run the Install.
In this Step, you need to Put Site Title, Username and Password of WordPress blog and hit Install WordPress.
After that it will show you that your Installation is success if any error occurs copy that error and paste in Google, or Comment below.
And Vola your Manually installation is Done!
Now the Another Installation from cPanel of WordPress.
Let’s Do it.
First login to cPanel and Navigate to Application Installer.
This is an easy way of installation of WordPress. Click on Installatron Applications Installer.
After that you have to click on Applications Browser to Find all the open Source of Installations like WordPress.
Now you have to click on WordPress blog & Click on Installing the Application, Fill all the Details of Site Title, and USERNAME & PASSWORD and it will auto add the default database and password of WordPress installation.
And then Hit Install.
All Done Default login area is yourdomainname.com/wp-admin And Enjoy!
